Discover is a real-time coaching assistant for your live Google Meet calls. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it to provide coaching, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. We only use your data to provide the coaching feature — we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and authentication tokens (via Google sign-in).
- Your settings: your selected coaching mode and the context you enter (e.g., your product/idea or fund thesis, who you're meeting, and the questions you want asked).
- Documents you upload: files you add in the dashboard to personalize coaching (e.g., a deck, one-pager, notes, or spreadsheet), the text we extract from them, and the short “context profile” we distill from that text.
- Call data: microphone and Google Meet tab audio captured while a call is active, the resulting transcript, coaching suggestions, and post-call analysis.
How we use it
- To transcribe your calls and generate real-time and post-call coaching.
- To tailor coaching to your context — your typed settings and uploaded documents.
- To show your history and progress in your dashboard.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it (subprocessors)
We share data with the following providers solely to deliver the coaching feature:
- Deepgram — speech-to-text transcription.
- OpenAI — real-time coaching, post-call analysis, and distilling uploaded documents into your context profile.
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- Fly.io — real-time relay hosting.
Audio handling
Audio is streamed for live transcription. We store transcripts and analysis, not audio recordings.
Documents you upload
- Uploaded files are stored privately in your account and are accessible only to you. We extract their text and use OpenAI to distill a short coaching profile.
- You can delete any document, the distilled profile, or individual questions at any time in dashboard settings; deleting a document also removes the stored file.
Retention & deletion
We retain your call data, uploaded documents, and context until you delete them or close your account. To request deletion, contact jia@jiaminghuang.com.
Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR/EEA, UK GDPR, CCPA/California), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Contact jia@jiaminghuang.com.
